Before getting started, please take a moment to read through our terms and conditions. By using our website and booking with our artists, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

Important Information

  • Inform your tattoo artist about any serious illnesses during the initial conversation. This is to determine if it is safe to tattoo you.
  • Please bring a valid ID with you. We may need to verify your age and identity before starting your tattoo. Failure to provide ID will result in the loss of your deposit.
  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your scheduled appointment.
  • Eat a meal and rest well before your appointment. Avoid consuming drugs or alcohol beforehand. If you are under the influence or appear to be intoxicated, we will not be able to tattoo you and you will forfeit your deposit.
  • Please maintain good personal hygiene before your appointment.
  • Remember your appointment date and time, as it is your responsibility to keep track of it.
  • If you are running late due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact the studio to let us know.
  • On rare occasions, we may need to reschedule your appointment. If you have paid a deposit and are unable to reschedule, we will hold your deposit to be counted toward your next booking with us.

We do not tattoo:

  • Under 18s without legal consent
  • Pregnant women, tattooing during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended and is not practiced with us
  • Racist remarks or hate symbols
  • Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs

We reserve the right to refuse service if felt necessary by any of the staff currently working at Sin on Skin.

Healing

Please note that you take responsibility for the healing of your tattoo. Your artist will provide instructions for during and after the healing process. If you have any questions, please reach out to your artist for guidance.

The following might occur due to normal causes or improper care:

  • Loss of ink
  • Fading
  • Allergic reactions
  • Itching
  • Dryness

We do not take responsibility for any damage to the tattoo while healing or otherwise.

Our artists are professionals and will advise you on the care, placement, and size of your tattoo. We do not accept responsibility for any advice followed other than the advice given by the artists at Sin on Skin. Our shop offers free touch ups on the tattoos that our artists have created up to 6 months after your original tattoo appointment.

Deposits Policy:

Deposits may be required to book an appointment to ensure the artist time and labour while designing your tattoo is covered.

Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a re-scheduled appointment time if the appointment was cancelled more than 48h before the date.

Not showing up or cancelling with less than 48h to your appointment will result in losing your deposit.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, you will lose your deposit and appointment unless specifically discussed with your artist.

If you arrive for your appointment under the influence of drugs or alcohol you will be refused service, asked to leave and lose your deposit.

Design Policy:

Your artist may require a drawing deposit before undertaking any design work on your behalf. This may be the same deposit to hold your booking.

Even if 48 hours notice is given, you will lose your deposit on any designs. Design deposits are final and non-refundable. This is in place to cover the costs of the custom design work that the artist has already completed.

If you wish to change your design, you must give a minimum of 24 hours notice so that your artist has some time to make the necessary changes. Design changes requested on the day of the tattoo may result in you losing your appointment.
